What is the eps transfer?
The payment method eps stands for “Electronic Payment Standard” and is a simple and secure online payment method of the Austrian banks and STUZZA (Studiengesellschaft für Zusammenarbeit im Zahlungsverkehr) and is the most frequently used payment method for bank transfers in Austria.
The highest level of security: the payment process takes place exclusively in your bank’s highly secure and familiar online banking system.
How does the eps transfer work?
To be able to pay by eps transfer, you need an online banking account with one of the participating banks. When checking out, you will be redirected to a central bank selection list where you can select your bank and will be redirected to online banking for the payment process. There you log into the private online banking area and check the payment details you have already entered. If these are correct, authorise the payment via eps and complete the purchase.
eps transfer: time until payment is received
The eps online bank transfer is a so-called instant transfer. This means that after authorisation by you, the bank in question creates an electronic payment confirmation and sends it to us directly. This means that we know immediately whether the eps payment has actually been made and can make the goods available or dispatch them immediately.
